As Executive Director, I led a dedicated team of twenty and grew annual revenue from $1.5M to $4.2M over eight years by building and executing a diversified fundraising strategy spanning corporate partnerships, individual giving, grants, and special campaigns. I led the Foundation’s full operational separation from its parent organization, creating independent HR, finance, IT, legal, and development systems from the ground up. Strengthening Board governance, I established new Finance, Risk Management, and DEI committees alongside robust compliance protocols. To expand national reach and deepen impact, I launched flagship programs — Math Motivators, STEM Stars, and the Modeling the Future Challenge — which together engaged nearly 2,000 new volunteers over five years, delivering free math tutoring, scholarships, mentorship, and national STEM competitions. I also successfully led and surpassed the $5M Educate. Connect. Change. campaign, securing the Foundation’s largest-ever individual ($500K) and corporate ($750K) gifts, ultimately raising $5.2M and exceeding the campaign goal by 5%. Throughout, I oversaw all strategic planning, partnerships, staffing, and fundraising operations, driving sustainable growth and transformative outcomes.

As Executive Director of the JourneyCare Foundation, I led a dedicated team of nine in managing a $3M+ philanthropic portfolio that served patients and families across 13 counties, all within a complex, highly regulated healthcare environment governed by HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid. Partnering closely with the CEO and Board, I modernized donor systems to enhance engagement and transparency, and launched a planned giving program that secured over $1M in new estate commitments — laying the groundwork for sustained future support. Through strategic cultivation and relationship building, I also secured the largest individual gift in the organization’s history: an unrestricted $1M contribution that significantly advanced our mission and expanded our capacity to deliver compassionate care. Together, these efforts strengthened the Foundation’s financial resilience and deepened its impact across the communities we served.

In my first year as Chief Development Officer at the Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation (NREF), I partnered closely with the Board to lead a giving campaign that generated nearly $700K in new donations — significantly advancing our mission. I also created and executed the FY25 Fund Development Plan, launched a new Planned Giving Society to build long-term support, and co-led a comprehensive donor CRM needs assessment and RFP process to modernize our infrastructure. To drive efficiency and deepen engagement, I developed clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guide major events and built strategic dashboards to track fundraising performance and better connect with donors — all helping position the organization for data-driven, sustainable growth.
